The RETScreen Expert Software is an intelligent decision support tool to enable stakeholders to rapidly identify, assess, optimize and track the performance of clean energy investments over the entire project life cycle. The software can be used to evaluate:
As an approved RETScreen Expert training provider, CIET provides each participant with a fully functional 90-day trial subscription in the days before the training session (value of $200). In the meantime, participants can download the software in Viewer mode completely free of charge.
Participants develop their skills in the analysis of all types of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Furthermore, they develop sound understanding of the new analysis features provided by the software, such as the Virtual Energy Analyzer and the Portfolio Analysis module, as well as learn to monitor energy performance data. Ms. Nour has more than 20 years of recognized experience in many fields related to the energy efficiency sector, mainly in the development and support for the operation of energy services companies (ESE) including the development of plans. savings measurement and verification (M&V), design and evaluation of electricity demand control (MDE) programs. She has also acquired considerable experience, as an international trainer, in renewable energy projects as part of the support for the development and international training of the RETScreen software and for the certification in measurement and verification (CMVP) of the Efficiency Valuation Organization. (EVO).
Amandine has over 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, project design and management, and energy analysis, in which she has commonly used RETScreen. She has been a certified professional in the use of RETScreen (CUR) since 2011. She also has extensive experience in energy efficiency training. In the past 8 years, she has conducted numerous workshops and training sessions on RETScreen and RETScreen Expert in several countries. She has also contributed to the translation and editing of presentations, case studies and other additional material in the Spanish language as well as the production of how-to videos for the RETScreen Expert YouTube channel.
Krystian is a Senior Professional at “Agencia de Sostenibilidad Energética” in Chile. He has more than 6 years of experience in measurement and verification processes of energy savings in both the public and private sectors
and also has international experience working with research groups related to energy and combustion from Australia (University of Queensland), Scotland (The University of Edinburgh) and USA (University of California, Berkeley). Krystian also has more than 9 years of experience using RETScreen. In 2019, he worked with the RETScreen team at CanmetENERGY in Varennes, Montreal for 4 months.

With more than 90 virtual real-time courses offered since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis under our belt, and based on feedback received from more than 800 participants, CIET is happy to inform that all public training sessions offered in the winter-spring of 2021 will still be delivered through virtual real-time classrooms.
This will allow everyone to continue accessing CIET training in a safe manner, which protects both our participants and our trainers, regardless of what happens with the pandemic.
