Energy Management Systems (EMS) and 50001 Ready Canada Webinar: 101

This public webinar is intended to introduce the ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems standard, the Ready Navigator tool, and the 50001 recognition program.

The ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Systems standard facilitates integrating energy efficiency into management practices, promoting awareness about energy use, reinforcing good energy management behaviours, and making better use of energy consuming assets and processes. NRCan launched the 50001 Ready Canada program and Ready Navigator tool to encourage leadership in the field and improve energy performance in Canada. The tool enables organizations to monitor their progress toward implementing the ISO 50001:2018 standard.

This one-hour webinar provides an overview of the basics of establishing an effective energy management system within an organization. Participants gain insights into ISO 50001:2018 and the 50001 Ready recognition to enabling them to understand their roles and contribute to the success of their organization.
