A properly operated building automation system (BAS) reduces energy consumption and allows for more efficient building system operations. This enables building management to increase tenant comfort while reducing operating costs.

During this one-day Building Automation Systems Essentials course, participants examine the basics of building systems and energy conservation strategies. This empowers participants to efficiently and effectively operate a BAS regardless of which system is used.

If they are a building operator, project manager, or technician, the BAS Essentials course can improve participants’ understanding of a BAS by examining the most important components, including protocols, controls, control strategies, scheduling, set points, and resets as well as maintenance, recommissioning, and commissioning.

After completing the Building Automation Systems Essentials course (or if you are already an experienced BAS operator or specialist looking to get more out of your system), register for the Advanced Building Automation Systems Optimization course. The advanced course is focused on control strategies and design that generate results in your building.
