Looking back on the past twelve months, we can see the themes of growth, innovation and shared accomplishments throughout 2023. The year was shaped by triumphs, challenges, and noteworthy milestones. For the second year in a row, we trained close to 3,000 professionals across the country. We also developed a new Industrial Facilities learning path, released 8 new courses, reached a milestone in our LinkedIn community, and many more memorable moments. None of this would be possible without your engagement in the sector and participation in the CIET capacity-building programs, Ask Us Anything sessions, certification programs, and private courses.

CIET Connect is a casual networking opportunity for energy-conscious and climate change-conscious professionals. Events take place in various downtown cores across the country and provide an opportunity for you to drop in for a drink and to connect with other professionals who are passionate about conservation and sustainability.
On top of the robust selection of courses offered, CIET also delivered 37 free webinars in 2023. These webinars introduced participants to ISO 50001, ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and RETScreen®.
