The Certified Industrial Energy Professional (CIEP) training is designed to equip professionals with the skills required to optimize energy efficiency in industrial settings. The CIEP program covers various aspects of energy management, such as energy auditing, system optimization, energy procurement, and sustainability practices in industrial facilities. Participants learn how to analyze energy usage, identify potential energy saving opportunities, and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
Over four days, participants explore topics such as energy management fundamentals, energy auditing techniques, efficient energy technologies, industrial process optimization, renewable energy integration, and regulatory compliance. They gain insights into the most effective methods for assessing energy performance, implementing measures to save energy, and measuring the effects of energy efficiency initiatives in industrial settings.
After completing the CIEP program, participants are eligible to take the certification exam to become a CIEP. This certification validates expertise in industrial energy management and showcases the ability to effectively execute energy conservation methods, enhance operation productivity, and decrease environmental effects in industrial environments.
CIET is the official Canadian partner of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and is exclusively approved to deliver AEE certifications throughout Canada. Please note that CIET only delivers AEE training programs in Canada. If you are located outside of Canada and wish to attend, please visit the AEE website. |
