The 50001 Certified Practitioner course is designed for facility personnel, consulting professionals, auditors, and service providers with technical experience in industrial and commercial energy systems and energy efficiency practices.
Becoming a 50001 Certified Practitioner enables participants to provide critical technical assistance for industrial and commercial facilities whose managers want to implement an energy management system in compliance with the ISO 50001 standard. Upon completing this course, participants have the expertise to assist organizations in implementing best practices in energy management based on ISO 50001. Additionally, they are able to assist in establishing energy performance levels and baselines, thus enabling them to track facility performance improvements and integrate effective metrics.
After completing this four-day course, participants have the skills, knowledge, and performance capability to assist and evaluate businesses in meeting ISO 50001 requirements. In particular, 50001 Certified Practitioners:
