In order to take an exam for the certification programs offered by CIET, the course is mandatory. If you have taken the course for an AEE certification in the last three years, you can register for the related exam only. You can also retake a failed exam.
There is no obligation to take the two preparation courses (the NRCan’s Foundation Level and Energy Advisor exams) if you want to become a Residential Energy Auditor. However, we offer these two courses because of demand and to provide a lot more information than on the examination topics. You are going to have access to a SharePoint containing many readings and exercises that will need to be completed after the course. We literally provide 20 years’ worth of experience collected into a single window, the SharePoint.
