What is the cancellation policy?

You can modify your personal information or cancel your registration by going back to your registration confirmation email where a link is included to access your registration. 

Postponing your registration for another course is considered a course cancellation followed by a new registration. Therefore, the same terms apply to postponements and cancellations. 

Our cancellation policy goes as follow:

 

Cancelling your registration for a course only or course with an exam

  • At least 2 weeks prior to the course: No fees
  • Less than 2 weeks prior to the course: 25% of invoiced course fees 
  • No-shows (cancellation request received by CIET the day of the beginning of the course): no refund

 

Postponing your exam registration for a first exam attempt:

  • Postponement of a first attempt: $150 administrative fee per portponement, maximum of two postponements allowed.

*Request must be submitted within 90 days of the end of your initial exam window. (Updated May 20th, 2026)

 

Postponing you exam registration for an exam retake:

  • Postponement of an exam retake: No postponement of the exam retake and no refund

 

Coaching sessions:

  • Cancellation of the CEM coaching sessions: No refund
