Although the justification of energy management (EM) projects may seem obvious to some, many clients and colleagues may not be aware of the benefits. The ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate both the energy and non-energy benefits of projects or retrofits – from operational cost savings, to conservation, to reduced equipment maintenance – is key to selling EM projects.
This one-day training is designed as a hands-on workshop with innovative exercises. You will be introduced to communication and financial analysis concepts. Then, all participants prepare their own short proposals, and the day concludes with an analysis of one of the prepared proposals.
The Making the Case for Energy Management program provides you with the necessary techniques, tools, and hands-on experience to build a compelling business case for EM investments. The program caters to individuals who hold internal roles such as securing buy-in from support staff or decision markers as well as those who hold external roles such as selling EM projects to customers.
