Scope 3 emissions, which include indirect upstream and downstream activities such as purchased goods, business travel, and product end-of-life impacts, often represent the largest share of an organization’s climate impact.

To support professionals in developing the competencies needed to take action, CIET is offering a one-day training on scope 3 emissions accounting. This course provides a practical introduction to identifying, estimating, quantifying, and managing Scope 3 emissions in accordance with international standards and best practices.

This interactive training session will help participants understand the significance of Scope 3 emissions in decarbonization strategies, navigate the GHG Protocol’s 15 categories of Scope 3 emissions, and explore real-world examples of Scope 3 data collection and reduction planning.
