Your Future in Energy Efficiency is a premier event for those interested in exploring job opportunities in energy efficiency (EE) in Alberta. This event will be held in 3 locations in January: Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary.
At these free events you can meet with energy efficiency professionals and learn about their career transitions, the types of careers available in EE, shifting from trades or Oil & Gas into EE, required job experience and much more. These are valuable events for Albertans who are interested in developing a career in EE.
Each event is made up of three components:
Hear from speakers about their personal career paths and how they become involved with energy efficiency.
Have the chance to meet and speak one-on-one with the presenters in small groups. Ask questions based on your specific job situation, and get personalized responses.
Enjoy a refreshment and mingle with other aspiring energy efficiency professionals and with the presenters.
Whether you’re a college or university student, in a career transition, from the Oil & Gas sector, or a new resident to Alberta with an interest in energy efficiency, you can attend and learn a great deal about your future in EE in Alberta.

COVID-19 Information for CIET Fall 2020 Training Calendar – CIET Goes Virtual!

With more than 60 virtual real-time courses offered since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis under our belt, and based on feedback received from more than 600 participants, CIET is happy to inform that all public training sessions offered in the fall of 2020 will be delivered through virtual real-time classrooms.
This will allow everyone to continue accessing CIET training in a safe manner, which protects both our participants and our trainers, regardless of what happens in the fall. You can register for these virtual courses in confidence, knowing that they will provide the same quality of training that you expect from CIET. These real-time training sessions will be available to all participants across Canada, and abroad.
