The BOC course represents the first of many CIET training courses which will take place under an agreement with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to provide federal-government employees with training in energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) management.
The aim of this training is to help build both individual and organizational capacity and adherence to the Greening Government Strategy, which calls for federal government facilities to On this pathway, the government will reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 40% below 2005 levels by 2030, with an aspiration to achieve this target by 2025.
