On Thursday, October 25th, the CIET team was out in full force to host the 3rd edition of our CIET Connect networking event (the Fall edition) in Toronto. Our mission with these events is to create a gathering point for professionals from the energy and sustainability communities to congregate in the downtown core for some networking, exchanges on current industry trends and activities, and of course for a much deserved drink after work.
The 45 attendees of this edition, which was held at The Office Pub, represented a plethora of different roles within the sector, including energy students, professional engineers, modellers and consultants, energy managers in commercial, retail and industrial settings, regional government and LDCs, financing managers, building managers, and of course past CIET graduates.
We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all those who attended. We look forward to seeing you all at the Winter edition of CIET Connect early in the New Year!
