ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager 101

ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager 201 (this webinar)

ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager 301

Having learned the basic functionalities and how to navigate the ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager (ESPM) in the first workshop, this session provides participants the information and training they need to use and update data and information on their own buildings into the tool. Participants also learn how to use the Data Quality Checker, which serves to run a set of basic data checks on your properties to help identify possible data entry errors and determine whether your buildings differ from typical operational patterns. It also alerts you to both warnings and information errors that you might have inputted.
Portfolio Manager is a management tool designed to measure and assess the energy performance of commercial and institutional buildings. Over the years, the Portfolio Manager tool has grown in popularity and use because it allows the user to understand whole building energy use and costs (including water and other materials), compare theirs with other buildings (using a scoring system), set building baselines and targets, track the impacts of reduction strategies, and produce custom reports.
