Ali Nazari, Vice President at Introba, leads the national climate and sustainability team, leveraging his deep expertise in integrated design facilitation, sustainability, and advanced building energy simulations. A recognized pioneer in the field, Ali was instrumental in delivering sustainability designs for Canada’s first commercial Living Building Challenge project and Vancouver’s first LEED Platinum-certified office. With over 20 years of experience, he holds the role of Vice Chair of the BC Chapter Leadership Board of the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) and is featured on CaGBC’s Experienced Modellers List.
Ali collaborates with local utilities to help clients secure green funding through various energy efficiency incentive programs. As a certified Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), he conducts Building Energy Quotient (bEQ) assessments, providing valuable insights into building energy performance. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia and a highly regarded international speaker on topics related to advanced building energy performance and sustainability.
