Mouez Ben Chaabane

Mouez has 12 years of experience in the field of climate change, particularly GHG mitigation and accounting. he has comprehensive knowledge of the stakes related to climate and universal frameworks (UNFCCC, Paris Agreement, etc.) as well as of the various frameworks targeting the entities and the private sector. He has extensive experiences in the GHG accounting at the countries, cities and entities level using internationally recognized standards such as the IPCC guidelines, GHG protocol and the ISO 14064-1 standard.  These experiences have been conducted for various purposes, such as Parties reporting to the UNFCCC, corporates’ climate-related risks disclosure, the development of decarbonation strategies and plans, etc.

 Mouez Ben Chaabane holds a Degree in Engineering, Industrial Instrumentation and Maintenance, from the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology of Tunis.  As a consultant at Econoler, he is responsible for climate-related mandates. He recently participated in writing the guide on achieving carbon neutrality in businesses published by the

Quebec business council on the environment (CPEQ).
