RETScreen Training Available at WEEC 2018

Have you previously attended the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC), or are planning on attending this year?

WEEC is the largest energy conference held in North America specially tailored to commercial, institutional and industrial energy use. WEEC 2018 is in Charlotte, North Carolina from October 17-19.

This year, there is an added dimension to WEEC: CIET will be running its valuable RETScreen^® Expert training course in Charlotte just before the start of WEEC, from October 15-17. This will allow participants to take the training and become a RETScreen^® Expert and attend the WEEC conference all in the same week!

Just as WEEC's goal is to give a forum for attendees to compare energy supply options and learn about innovative and cost-conscious project implementation strategies, the RETScreen^® Expert course has the related objective ensuring participants develop their skills in the analysis of all types of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies through the software.

More specifically, participants will be able to:

• Quickly gauge a facility's energy performance using benchmarking, and evaluate energy costs and savings, GHG reductions and financing viability;
• Determine the energy production and saving potential for any location in the world employing Archetypes;
• Verify the performance of implemented projects and find opportunities for further energy improvements;
• Manage energy across a large number of facilities and achieve energy-related investment goals using Portfolio Analysis.
